Time Event
Ending a campaign
I just brought to a close my main LARP, Midgard. We started it 5 years ago, and knew from the start that it would be a 5-year campaign. It feels good to finish something, to see something through to completion, especially something that so many friends have enjoyed, and something that was a definite success. I'm very proud of the game, and very pleased that it went so well.

But now...? *sigh* I miss it. Something that once took up so much time and effort is now *poof*! Gone! On one hand, it's nice to actually sit back and relax and not have to worry about what to do for next game, but on the other hand... I'm kind of rudderless.

Does anyone else feel melancholy after seeing the end of a really good game?

Current Mood: sleepy
